The Gallatin Guppy is, objectively, the best fly to touch the water. It is effective, efficient and most importantly extremely fun to fish. The fly is meant to ride high in the water column although slightly below the surface. After it hits the water, it should be stripped faster and faster, wriggling the rod tip to create an entiing side to side movement in the flexible, flashy tail. When a fish sees the Gallatin Guppy, it will pounce on the fly from the depths of the water, engulfing it in its jaws and illiciting a rush of adreneline from you, the fisherman, making the whole experience just a little bit better. It might seem like I'm only selling flies, but this one's a drug that's sure to get you hooked.
