The Beginning:

Howdy ya’ll, I’m Jackson Dean the owner of Flyest Shop Around,  as well as a pro with Temple Fork Outfitters and Nor-Vise. I learned to tie trout flies while on vacation with my uncle, Jeff Dean, who runs Mountainbound Fly Guides out of Boone, North Carolina. Once I got back to Texas and began tying for my local largemouth bass, I found that the modern bass fly roster did not suit my personal needs. I started coming up with my own fly patterns, each tied to fit my specific fishing needs. Realizing I could give other people access to these flies as well as make a couple bucks, I moved to create the Flyestshoparound online storefront into what it is today.
